Another bonus: French Riviera weather

Alweer een pluspuntje! Het weer in in Zuid Frankrijk....

Het weer in Zuid Frankrijk, de Provence en de Riviera is het beste van heel Europa. Het klimaat in de Provence is ideaal voor diegenen die het 's zomers graag heet hebben, koud in de winters en dan een beetje uitwaaien in de Mistral! De winters aan de Riviera zijn mild, vriendelijk oftewel mediterraan en zelden kouder dan 5°C (59°F). Het kan stevig regenen in Oktober en maart, maar zonder dat zou het niet zo weelderig en groen zijn in onze omgeving! In de zomer kan de temperatuur zo nu en dan oplopen tot 40°C (104°F) maar het gemiddelde over het hele jaar is 15°C. Waarschuwing voor als je bij ons een huis koopt: de eerste winter ervaar je als warm, je loopt nog in je T-shirtje over straat, maar langzamerhand wen je aan die zachte temperaturen en voor je het weet loop je klappertandend in een donsjas. (Zo herken je hier in de winter ook de toeristen uit het Noorden)


Another Bonus: Benign Riviera Weather
Weather in the South of France, the Provence and the French Riviera is the best of Europe. The climate in the Provence is ideal for those that like it hot in summertime, cold in the winter and then to blow out a bit in the mistral!. The winters in the Riviera are mild and benign (or Mediterranean) and it is seldom colder than 5°C (59°F). It can rain firmly in October and March, but without the rain it wouldn't be as sumptuous and green over here! In the summer the temperature can rise to 40°C (104°F) but the average temperature for a year is 15°C. Warning for our buyers: You'll experience your first winter as warm, youwalk around in a T-shirt as long as the sun is shining, but gradually you get used to those gentle temperatures and before you know it you are shivering in a down jacket! (That's also how you recognise the tourists from the north here in the winter)
