Valbonne had afgelopen vrijdag een heel hoog "makelaarsgehalte": Het Riviera Home Finders team was in z'n geheel op kantoor om plannen te maken, strategieën uit te stippelen, elkaar weer eens te zien en bij te praten. James uit de Languedoc was er, Elayne en Jean Paul uit de Luberon, die hebben uren in de auto gezeten om ons te bereiken en natuurlijk de mensen uit St Tropez, Cannes, Port Grimaud, Vence, Mougins en niet te vergeten Valbonne zelf! Behalve het zakelijke gedelte hebben we ook genoten van het goede dat Valbonne te bieden heeft! Ons oude stadje heeft weliswaar nog steeds de 16e eeuwse uitstraling, maar gonst ook van de activiteit. In het centrum is de prachtige oude Place des Arcades, waar we de hele avond hebben zitten eten en drinken met het team. We hebben er deze keer geen tijd voor gehad, maar ik kan een wandeling langs de "Sentier de la Brague" enorm aanraden. Niet alleen omdat je je zo lekker voelt na een wandeling, maar ook omdat het een ongelofelijk mooi traject is, waarbij je van Valbonne helemaal naar Biot loopt, langs het riviertje de Brague (ons kantoor is aan de rue de la Brague, dus heel dichtbij). Als je op je gemakje slentert en overal blijft staan kijken doe je er ongeveer 3 uur over, overal is het prachtig groen, zelfs in de heetste periode van de zomer en het water is schoon, met overal vis. Ik weet dat zo goed omdat we er een prachtige villa te koop hadden, die we vorige maand hebben verkocht. Ik kan er niet over uit hoe fijn het is om deel uit te maken van een succesvol team dat in een omgeving als deze kan werken! Last Friday Valbonne had an extra high number of real estate agents: The entire Riviera Home Finders team was in the office, to make plans, find new strategies and to see each other again and touch base. James came over from the Languedoc, Elayne and Jean Paul out of the Luberon -they drove for hours to attend- and of course the people from St Tropez, Cannes, Port Grimaud, Vence, Mougins and last but least Valbonne itself! Apart from the business discussions, we really enjoyed the good that Valbonne has to offer! Our old town still has a 16th century feel to it, but it also has a big city-like, active quality. In the centre is the beautiful old Place des Arcades, where we have been eating and drinking all night with the team. On this occasion we didn't have the time to make a walk along ther "Sentier de la Brague", but I can recommend this to everybody. Not only because you feel so good after a long walk, but also as it is such a beautiful route, that gets you from Valbonne all the way to Biot, along the river La Brague (our office is on the Rue de la Brague - so close). If you walk unhurriedly and stand still from time to time to take in the beauty of the scenery, it will cost you at most three hours. It is beautifully green everywhere, even in the hottest part of the summer and the water is clean, with fish everywhere. How do I know this so well? Because we had a stunning villa there, that we sold last month. I cannot tell you how great it feels to be part of such a succesful team and work in these surroundings!
